The Wellington community was established in 1989. It is a community of beautiful scenery, friendly people and a diversity of recreational and cultural opportunities. There are 1,397 homes within the Wellington community including 575 single-family homes, 565 townhouse, and 257 condominiums.
There are two asphalt basketball courts available to the community as well as tennis courts that are located at the Community Center, Coriander Circle and Butternut Circle. The Wellington Community Center is available for rent year-round by Wellington homeowners.
The Wellington neighborhood pool facility includes a diving well with a half-meter board and tube slide. Additionally, a covered pavilion equipped with vending machines and an eating area with a wading pool for children under seven are featured here as well. Swimming lessons are offered by the Wellington Dolphins Swim Team.
There are 11 Tot Lots located within the Wellington community. These tot lots are designed to provide a safe environment for younger children to play.
There are miles of well-maintained paths surrounded by trees and nature within the Wellington community for hiking and biking.
